    THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES PRINT AND DIGITAL GOOGLE SLIDES FOR THE FOLLOWING:

    This MLK Memorial Travel Blogger Writing and Reading Response Resource was designed to be a unique virtual field trip to the MLK Memorial as well as to enhance understanding and engagement regarding topics about race and equality.

    Students will be tasked with becoming a travel blogger going to the MLK Memorial in Washington D.C. They will watch videos, look at pictures, read quotes from the memorial, watch a 360 view of the Memorial, read information about the impact MLK had on society, and more! After they have “visited.,” they will write a blog post about their “trip!” Their post must include: A Blog Name, Their Name, A Blog Logo, A Blog Post Title, A Picture from their trip with a caption, and A Written Blog Post with complete sentences and appropriate punctuation. At the end, I have included an earlier finisher coloring page as well as many extra (optional) links to further enhance the lesson for early finishers.
