    Description

    Practice paragraph writing in Social Studies with text dependent questions. This bundle that includes three MEAL paragraph resources in both print and digital formats, making it perfect for distance learning or blended classrooms!

    Looking to integrate writing practice into your social studies class? This bundle has two guided writing lessons. Students will begin by deconstructing a mentor text to identify each component of MEAL. Then, students will write a MEAL paragraph as a class with teacher lead modeling, assess their work, then write their own paragraph independently using skills they learned.

    The bundle includes scaffolded graphic organizers for prewriting, response sheets, and rubrics - all in printable AND paperless formats. Teachers can upload the included rubric to Google Classroom for simplified assessment online, or use the printable rubric to provide handwritten feedback.
