OBJECTIVE:
- To use number knowledge, place value and basic number facts to solve number patterns within sequences of 4 and 5 digit numbers.

ACTIVITY CARD CONTENTS:
- 30x A6 color coded activity cards (A4 x 8 pages)
- 150 non-repeated number sequences
- Each card provides five different number sequences using 4 & 5 digit numbers.
The number sequences either increase (+) or decrease (-) depending on the following forward or backward ‘jump’ patterns; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; 10, 20, 30, 40, 50; 100, 200, 300, 400, 500; 1000, 2000, 3000

TASK:
- The ‘explorer’ is challenged to find the next 3 numbers for each of the five number sequences that are provided on any given card.
- In any given sequence, the ‘jump’ remains the same for that sequence. eg. 4035, 4037, 4039 , 4041...every jump is +2.

WORKBOOK:
- The attractive, student friendly workbook enables the students to neatly record their answers to ALL 30 activity cards in the one simple place. It also allows for easy retrieval and monitoring of work completed.
