Description

This product is a table that lists all of the Common Core State Standards that have been identified as necessary "prerequisites" for students to have mastered before entering the next grade level. It also includes a space for suggested supports using the Go Math Grade 2 curriculum, and identifies the differences between the previous grade-level standard and the current grade-level standard. This is a useful resource not only for Grade 2 teachers wanting to ensure that their students meet all of the necessary standards by the end of the year, but also helps third grade teachers to support those students who may not already be meeting them.

Estimate lengths using units of inches, feet, centimeters, and meters.
Measure to determine how much longer one object is than another, expressing the length difference in terms of a standard length unit.
Use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve word problems involving lengths that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as drawings of rulers) and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
