My students liked this project and were successful with created their pagodas and collage landscapes. They enjoyed learning about the history of the pagodas as well.

Description

Celebrate the Lunar New Year!


Every year, millions of Asian families come together to celebrate the first new moon in the sky. Now your students can learn and love creating these beautiful Pagoda buildings. Included in this pdf are step by step directions using simple materials such as construction paper and markers, informative text, and colorful illustrations.


Additional directions show adding lanterns and gardens to your background for a festive celebration. This project can be created with simple paper and markers or students can make it more elaborate with painted paper and temper paint details. Either way, once the details are added the project is sure to please! Happy Lunar New Year!
