What educators are saying

My students loved this challenge! We just finished our space unit and this was a fun way to end the unit.

Description

Help students explore gravitational forces through this hands-on engineering challenge.

Students can complete this project individually, in pairs, or in teams. We have done this project with materials in class and also as an at-home project. Both work great!

The mission is to create a lunar lander that will protect the cargo onboard (an egg) and keep it crack-free. Students will put their lander through numerous trials (recording sheets included) as well as spend time reflecting and addressing the NGSS standard.

This project is a always a HUGE hit and your students will love it!
