Lucy Calkins Writing First Grade Unit 1 Outlines - editable

This is a word document of all 21 Sessions in the Unit 1 "Small Moments" manual for Lucy Calkins first grade writing (published in 2013). Teachers College Reading and Writing Project suggests that first and second-grade teachers teach this unit in Sept/Oct. The body of the text is fully editable. The footer is the only part protected.

Each outline includes a brief synopsis of the:

Each outline is a maximum of one page, so they are quick to read when lesson planning and easy to skim just before teaching. Specific pages in the Small Moments manual are referenced when visuals were provided that I found useful.

These are my own personal outlines that I made for my own personal use. You may find small imperfections in my syntax or silly spelling errors. I am selling this as a word document so that you can alter and edit the outlines to fit your needs, teaching style, and interpretation of the Lucy Calkins writing curriculum.
