Lucy Calkins Units of Study ABC CHANT Recordings

I recorded myself using the Units of Study in Phonics ABC Chart. I turned it into a chant to teach the letter name, word, sound, etc. In the 2nd recording, I go right into the chant rather than explaining it's purpose and how it works to the students. These can be used independently during workshop time (with headphones), as a class warm up before Reader's and/or Writer's Workshop, before small group instruction, at home, or all of the above!!! Teaching students HOW to use this chart and having it available during reading and writing time is invaluable and will increase your student's independence.
