Description
The traditional bingo card game, Lotería, is a great way to explore Mexican culture and tradition while becoming familiar with a variety of spanish vocabulary.
This is a collection of over 100 full-page Lotería illustrations for use with themed projects. A mix of traditional Lotería imagery and unique new designs. These black and white line drawings are great for coloring and shading activities, reference images, and templates. A good set of reference images should feature enough different designs to provide students with a broad choice and provide for plenty of variety in the finished work. Over 100 different images. Three print-ready sizes, letter size, half-sheet, and 11x17.
PLUS - A printable set of Lotería cards and games boards. Features 60 unique cards along with 30 game boards. You're going to want to print these on some nice cardstock. There is also a unique design for the back of the cards if you want. These cards are original designs by me and feature a combination of traditional and all new subjects. Check out my Brash Cash game tokens for this and other games.
PLUS - Have students compose writing inspired by illustration with a set of the Lotería Illustration Writing Prompts. These combine an illustration with a ruled area for brief writing assignments. There's an additional handout with more writing area if desired.
PLUS - 16 Loteria themed Mystery Grid Drawing Puzzles. Grid drawing isn't exclusive to art class. The technique is very effective at teaching itself. This activity also transcends language barriers. I have found that non-english speaking students can discern the method and get to work right away.
