What educators are saying

I love using this resource around Christmas time. The book is great for practicing color words and the repetitive text is perfect for my kindergartners to read independently.
I really loved this little emergent book. I have found a lot of great resources from this vendor on Teacher Pay Teachers. She has some of my favorite emergent readers. They are in a great format and easy to use. My students love the books.

Description

This emergent reader little book is a great way to begin reading with young students. This story uses a predictable pattern to support emerging readers.

On each page, a different color of Christmas lights is featured; the book follows the pattern, "Look at the _____ lights."

This story reviews the sight words look, at, and the; the following color words are also practiced: red, blue, yellow, green, yellow, orange, and purple.

This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!
