Long Range Plans Grade 2/3 All Subjects EDITABLE UPDATED 2023

This detailed monthly long range plan for all the subjects in the Ontario Curriculum will ensure you teach all the grade 2/3 expectations by the end of the year. This unit has been updated to include the new 2023 language, the new 2020 math curriculum, new 2018 social studies, 2022 science and 2019 health & physical education.

The file includes two packages.

The EDITABLE package has the long range plans with the name of specific expectations (Reading – predictions) laid out monthly in a progressive order that ties all subjects and grades together when possible. You are able to move the names of the expectations to a month that you would rather teach it in or delete it. Also in this package are blank charts with subject and monthly labels and texting boxes for you to create the long range plans you want.

The second package includes three sets of long range plans. The first has the name of the specific expectations laid out monthly (Sept. – Jan. & Feb. – June) with hyperlinks to units I use. The second includes the same specific expectation names laid out monthly, but with suggested books for a read aloud and websites for additional practice and information. The third includes the same specific expectation names with a list of the Overall and Specific expectations.

The expectations are organized across the year so that skills that are learned in one month will help the next month’s lessons.
