Description

I have many students who have a really hard time with the algorithm for long division. I designed this as a progression tool. A student will start with long division of single divisor into 3 digit dividend and quotient and no remainder. As they show mastery they can move to the long division with remainder, then finally to decimal.

I am planning on adding 2 digit divisors as well as decimal divisors.

Buy now so you get all the products at the same price. When I add the others I will be increasing the price. :)

Product includes:

•6 graphic organizers (3-single digit divisors, 3 double digit divisior)

•3 sets of matching task cards for single digit divisiors. (12 questions - two sets each (color and printer friendly)

•3 matching answer sheets and teacher keys

I used this in my own class and the students who were using it felt very confident after just one day! I actually printed two of the graphic organizers, and before laminating I filled out one with an example that is not on the cards so that the students could see how I did it. I then laminated the two graphic organizers back to back. I set up this station with a dry erase marker and eraser so that the student used the organizer for their work and then just wrote the answer on the answer sheet!
