What educators are saying

Good, engaging, and challenging. I was able to use it as supplemental material for students that were between projects.
My high school speech students LOVE logic puzzles. They come into my sessions asking to complete them. They can be utilized in many different ways in a session.

    Description

Target auditory comprehension, mental manipulation, higher level concepts, and problem solving with your middle and high school students with 48 engaging themed logic puzzles. Made by a speech therapist, these puzzles are a great way to target concept vocabulary and comprehension skills with your older students.

Many language and learning impaired students have difficulty reasoning (especially for math word problems). These logic puzzles for speech therapists and intervention specialists target higher level thinking and conceptual skills that are often difficult to target in traditional activities.

    Included:

4 Logic Puzzles for each month (48 puzzles!) Each puzzle is themed around a fun holiday that takes place during the month.

    Example of March Puzzle Theme:

March Week 1 - World Compliment Day (March 1)

March Week 2 - Oatmeal Nut Waffle Day (March 11)

March Week 3 - Awkward Moments Day (March 18th)

March Week 4 - Puppy Day (March 23rd)

Each puzzle included in 2 different formats:

    1. Independent Work - clues and solving grids on the same page
    2. Listening Comprehension - clues are not provided on answer page. The SLP reads the clues and students solve the puzzle.
