Description

The Literary Elements PowerPoint Presentation is an excellent visual guide for teaching middle school students about literary/story elements.

I have created this presentation to help my students incorporate the literary elements into the narratives that they write in my class. This presentation would also be an excellent aid in identifying the elements of a story while reading a short story or a novel in class.

I have included:

*Definitions: Each literary element is defined in the presentation.

*Examples: Real-world and easily related examples are used throughout the presentation in order to aid student understanding.

*Discussion Questions: Questions are used throughout the presentation to measure student understanding and to create class discussions on the material.

*Writing Tips: Suggestions on what to write for each literary element are also included to help guide student writing.

Print presentation to use as a handout or to include in an interactive notebook!
