Description

In this Zip file are four files : Lines and Spaces, Note Stems, Lines and Dots in Music, and a PDF with a detailed description of how to use these videos.

These videos explain what I believe to be the most confusing elements in reading staff music for beginner students. These visual videos, will help your students remember the purpose of lines and dots in music!!
A brief explanation of the videos:

Lines and Spaces Visually demonstrates how notes look different on a line and on a space. Defines “note head”!

Note Stems Eliminates the confusion of whether or not a note is “upside down.”

Lines and Dots in Music Identifies the difference between a dot next to a note, and a dot under or above a note, bar lines, double bar lines, stems and the repeat sign.
