Linear Motion/Kinematics Discovery Lab

Designed for mid to upper level high school students, this is a group lab activity that requires students to analyze tire skid marks and red light camera film to determine whether or not a car was speeding. The only item the teacher will need to provide is the video of the skidding vehicle which can easily be found online. Skills: Measurement, data analysis and comparison, mathematical computation using kinematic formulas.
