Line Elements of Art Worksheets and Art Lesson

In this lesson, the students study each element step-by-step (color, line, texture, value, space, shape, and form) and include color reproductions on informational pages. Includes fun activities for the students to participate in. These activities call for students to look closer at artwork included in the magazine and to apply knowledge learned.

Included in this lesson:

• Each element is displayed on a separate sheet that can be used as a poster or handout
• Student Handout on artwork and information provided on the elements
• Challenge 1– Students participate in an Elements of Art Race to show understanding of the concepts.
• Challenge 2 - Students create their own designs and execute this artwork using the elements of art.
