The introduction is a 70 page lesson. The following 3 types of discontinuity are discussed:

1. Jump discontinuity

2. Removable discontinuity

3. Infinite discontinuity at a vertical asymptote

Left sided, right sided and double sided limits are introduced for all three types of discontinuity. Also, a function value at the discontinuous point is addressed. 14 formative assessment questions are embedded throughout the file for comprehension.

Assignment A is a 24 question file. The definitions of the 3 types of discontinuity are included as well as function and limit values. It is on 1 page for easy printing.
