Description

In this Rome Gladiator primary source activity, students analyze a primary source regarding the gladiator games, then create a script where they converse with a citizen of ancient Rome who attended the games!

Students read chunked and focused text (to aid in comprehension) that is geared toward specific questions on the gladiator games of Rome. This has been done to focus students on the correct section of text to find their evidence! Once finished, students create a conversation that incorporates what they have learned regarding the Roman gladiator games!

This resource includes a paper in-class version and a 1:1 Google compatible version to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom. Just follow the included instructions for how to access the Google version, then share the resource through Google or assign via Google Classroom. This will allow students to type directly into the document!
