Description
MMMMMM, Pancakes!
This mouth-watering recipe comprehension lesson in making blueberry pancakes is fantastic for teaching middle or high school students how to read a recipe. In this lesson they will learn the vocabulary and essential parts in reading and writing a recipe. Then comes the fun part in writing their own recipe.
This activity, Reading A Recipe, can be used as a pre assessment at the start of a lesson or post assessment at the end of a lesson. If desired, the Blueberry Pancakes recipe can be used as a lab. Please note that the lab plan is not included in this lesson and can be purchased on my Teachers Pay Teachers Page.
This is a great lesson to be used in the Family and Consumer Science or Life Skills classroom.
