Life Skills Lesson - How to Write a Check / Cheque Presentation & Blank Template: Use this lesson in your health or life skills class to guide students through the process of writing a check. The step-by-step instructions provided in the PowerPoint presentation will give students the information they need to use this life skill in adulthood. The slides include examples and a final product. It also provides practice situations with answers and shows students how to create a void check. Also included is a printable blank check/cheque for students to practice with.

Included in This Life Skills Writing a Check Resource:

➡️ Writing a Check Presentation Slides: Use this 25-slide PowerPoint presentation to guide students through the process of filling out a check. The presentation breaks down the process in a step-by-step way so students can follow along. The presentation also provides practice situations and information on how to write a void check.

➡️ Blank Check Activity Template: After students have learned the steps for writing a check, they will complete three checks on their own based on prompts within the slideshow. They will learn that they have three bills to pay, and they must use what they learned in the lesson to complete fill out the checks.
