Description

Students will respond to a writing prompt to explain the stages of a flowering plants life cycle: germination, plant development, fertilization and seed production. They will be writing in the vantage point of a seed. For each stage they will need to describe what is happening to them and what kind of changes are taking place. Students get points for content as well as paragraph structure. I also allowed my students to illustrate one scene from their story for extra credit. This could be a requirement if you choose. Creative & cross curriculum!
