Library Leprechaun Hunt

Library Leprechaun Hunt gives students the opportunity to collaboratively use the online catalog system in the library to find the call number of easy and fiction books and then actually physically locate the book on the shelf in the library. The lesson begins with a read aloud of any book that is centered around St. Patrick's Day or leprechauns. After reading the story, you will tell the students that some leprechauns are hiding with their treasure in the library, and you need their help in locating them. Let the fun begin!
