These NO-PREP reading passages and questions are perfect tools to build your students’ character recognition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency.

• Different Genres 不同题材和主题

Fairy tales, realistic fiction, and non-fiction are included to practice different reading strategies. The topics varied from science, social studies, social-emotional learning, etc.

• Learn Characters in a Context 在语境中学习汉字

It is vital to introduce and practice Chinese characters n context. Students will understand the meanings of the characters with clear visuals and structured practice.

• Differentiation  个性化选择

Two different versions included: Pinyin, and words only. You can choose what works best for your students based on their needs. We also recommend you can use them in combination so that it will promote students’ phonics skills and character recognition simultaneously.
