Have your students write a letter to Santa Claus or the Three Kings in Spanish!
This 4-day unit is specifically designed for middle school heritage speaker students.
In this unit students will:
- reflect on their beliefs about Santa Claus, the Three Kings, and what they want for Christmas.
- identify and correct errors in sentences.
- use a rubric to guide their writing process.
- use a mentor text (example letter) to write their own persuasive letter to Santa Claus or the Three Kings.
- revise their letter using the unit-assigned rubric and checklist.
- properly address an envelope to Santa or The Three Kings.
