Description

Are you looking for kindergarten reading lessons and worksheets that teach letter sounds? This RF.K.3.a Letter Sounds kindergarten unit is full of standards-based lesson plans, worksheets, and grammar centers. It is used to teach how to produce the sounds of each letter. In this unit, students will work with basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences. It is also aligned with Science of Reading.

This unit is different from the other RF units within the domain. Instead of a week-long lesson plan, it comes with four activities for each letter. These can be plugged into how you teach your own letter recognition activities. Then, there are review worksheets and centers to help wrap up letter recognition.

What's Included:

  • Lesson Plan activities for all 26 letters
  • 15 Review Worksheets
  • 3 Review Centers
  • Assessment checklist

Standard Covered:

RF.K.3.a- Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.

This unit would go hand in hand with the RF.K.1.d letter recognition unit!
