Letter Formation Mats - all Australian State Fonts

A wonderful addition to any early years classroom to encourage letter formation using loose parts or tracing. These mats are perfect to use with loose parts to create the letters. Pom poms, small gems, counters, buttons, playdough, magnetic chips.. The possibilities are endless. Fantastic for fine motor and sensory learners.

• Lower Case Mats -all letters of the alphabet in print font and all Australian State fonts (print except VIC pre-cursive).
• Upper Case and Lower Case Match up Mats - all letters of the alphabet in print font and all Australian State fonts (print except VIC pre-cursive). Use as a whole page or cut down the middle for a match up puzzle!

The picture prompts on the mats are used as an oral language practice. You could then ask the child what else they know that starts with that sound. All mats show starting sound pictures except x, ng & nk.

There is also a blank version included in a PowerPoint file. These are perfect to use for sound hunts, upper case match, drawing pictures or writing words! I have created them as a PowerPoint so that you also have the option to add your own pictures to match your phonics program if you wish.
