What educators are saying

My students loved doing this activity in groups in class. I loved how easy and flexible it was to make and add in to my lesson plans. Thank you so much!
One of my most favorite TPT purchases. My 5th graders enjoyed working in this. Our internet went down for 2 weeks, so having everything included was perfect. My students told me I should find more projects like this.

Description

Let's Plan A Vacation!

This end of year project is sure to have your students engaged and thinking about real-world problem solving while practicing those math skills one last time before summer break!

It's exactly what you need to rein your students back in when the end of the year is near.

This project pack includes two versions and extension activities.

-Version One: Students get $1,000 to plan a trip (for one) to the beach.

-Version Two: Students get $5,000 to plan a trip (for four, including themselves) to the beach.

Students will work to create a budget using a list of hotels, flights, train tickets, entertainment options, and food options.

I hope you enjoy watching your students plan as much as I did. Nothing beats the, "Did you know a soda costs TWO DOLLARS?! OMG, I'll drink water!" :)

Thanks for looking!
