Let's Get This Game Started-Halloween Version

Using the popular ice-breaker, "Let's Get This Game Started", I've created a Halloween version with snippets of the poem Miss White Had a Fright along with other fun October surprises! It's a quick whole-class activity and involves reading, listening skills, and cooperation. Have fun! Boo!

• Miss White Had a Fright is Halloween magic in E minor and includes the poem with lots of beat and quarter note/paired eighth note rhythm activities, an instrumental piece for barred instruments, improvising for recorders on G-E (and BAGE), creating with Boomwhackers, and rhythmic assessment. You don't have to do it all but have the flexibility to pick and choose activities depending on your students and the grade level.
