Description

Welcome to the Adopt an Animal Research Project! This is a low-prep, standards based research project that your students will LOVE! Tried and tested in my own classroom, I hope you enjoy this resource as much as I do! I have used it in 3rd grade high ability to teach animal (science) standards, but this could be easily applied to other grade levels as well!

Students will research Animals (adaptations, habitats, genetics, and survival skills). This works great for in-person or distance-learning and can be uploaded to any platform, such as Google Classroom. This unit was designed to be completed within a nine-week time frame, but can easily be extended or shortened based on your needs. Unit lesson plans, research templates, writing templates, project ideas, and all lab worksheets are included.
