Description

In this Lesson Plan, students will recognize that prairie plants have extensive root systems. They will use a diagram to determine the average above ground height and the average length of the underground roots of big bluestem, little bluestem, Indiangrass, and switchgrass. Students will use a measuring tool to construct a visual made from yarn.
