Description
This product entirely in French from Chez Nathalie is a theatrical adaptation of the Abenakis legend: Les quatre voeux (The Four Visitors), which focuses on the sacred principle of the number 4. Four men visit the Creator Gluskonba after he promises to grant a wish to each member of the nation who asks him for one. Gluskonba gives a small pouch to each man and tells them to open it only at their homes. Three men do not follow his instructions and meet a fateful destiny. Only one man benefits from his wish. There are 9 roles: 5 main roles and 4 smaller roles. There is also a page before the legend which explains the sacred principle of the number 4 in First Nation culture and a page at the end of the product which contains a summary of two other legends on the same theme as well as discussion questions.
