Leprechaun Legend and Lore SMARTBOARD

This SMARTBoard lesson is full of fun and skills (but not trickery). It encompasses various language arts skills and rules while using the fun legends and lore of leprechauns and St. Patrick's Day. There is a game board that students begin with by clicking on a square with a funny leprechaun. This takes you to a slide using language arts skills such as: inferring, fact and opinion, summarization, riddles, information that is off topic, and more. All slides are linked to a score board so that students may play it as a game and keep score if they want to. All answers are provided. MUST have Smart Notebook software to download and use this lesson. Lesson may be above level for some 3rd graders, but it would be a great lesson to use to challenge students. Can also be used easily as a lesson to remediate or review.
