Description

Least Common Multiple Notes

This pdf shows four different ways to find LCM of two or more numbers.

1. Finding the LCM by listing multiples

2. Finding the LCM by using prime factorization

3. Finding the LCM by using Tic-Tac-Toe...my personal favorite

4. Finding the LCM by first finding the GCF, then dividing.

Because all kids learn differently, I try to teach every math concept in as many ways as I can to reach all the students.

I teach my students all four ways of finding LCM, make them practice all four ways, then let them pick the one that works best for their learning style.
