Description

Details:
This file has learning goals and scales for the 8 Number and Operations in Base Ten (NBT) Common Core Standards. Each scale has 4 levels. Each scale has images that show students an example of how they can participate with the standard and work towards getting to the learning goal.

Levels:
Each scale has 4 levels.
-Level 3 is the learning goal and involves the full standard.
-Level 1 and 2 are prerequisites of the standard or smaller skills leading to the full standard.
-Level 4 is beyond the goal, so it involves showing/explaining/expressing understanding of the full standard.

Sizes:
Each scale has 2 sizes and 4 printing options:
-1 page size with color images
-1 page size with black and white images
-3 page poster size with color images
-3 page poster size with black and white images
The 1 page size could be used as is or blown up using a poster maker. The 3 page poster size option allows you to have larger scales without using a poster maker.
