This digital download contains:
* An introduction to cursive, why we use it and why it is important

* 8 pages teaching the formation of each letter, in both upper and lower case cursive - taught through repetition.

* 13 pages of cursive words, illustrating how letters are connected. There is space to practice writing each word.

* 1 blank lined practice page, for students to practice on their own.

This is suitable to teach at almost any age, depending on if your curriculum still contains cursive writing or not (our local schools in Illinois no longer teach cursive!) I believe it used to start in 3rd grade, I teach 6/7 blended and just introduced it for the first time.

I found that this helps with 'messy' handwriting, even in printing - once a student learns cursive they take it a little slower and seem to improve their overall penmanship.

This 23 page packet took 1 1/2 weeks for us to complete and she is now writing cursive like a pro!
