Description
This product entirely in French from Chez Nathalie is a theatrical adaptation of the Ojibwe legend: Le capteur de rêves (The Dreamcatcher), which focuses on the sacred principle of dreams. After a wizard casts a spell, a hunter is haunted by nightmares, and his nation is on the brink of famine. One night, a spider visits him and helps him break the spell. The hunter makes a dreamcatcher, which allows him to have good dreams, hunt successfully and save his people. There are 8 roles: 3 main roles and 5 smaller roles. There is also a page before the legend which explains the sacred principle of dreams in First Nation culture and a page at the end of the product which contains a summary of two other legends on the same theme as well as discussion questions.
