Description

This Google Slides presentation provides an overview on the slapstick comedy stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The presentation also focuses on two of their short comedies--The Music Box (1932) and County Hospital (1932).

There are 8 slides which provide background on Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy as well as slapstick comedy. 6 other slides include links to the film shorts--The Music Box and County Hospital as well as background on the two movies.

My students love learning about Laurel & Hardy and their contribution to American comedy cinema. Appropriate for all ages and guaranteed to provide laughs. This presentation is a great way to provide background/schema before watching the comedy shorts.
