Format: PDF

Children can color and trace six animals from Latin America in this fun vocabulary activity.

    • Llama - Llamas' native range is the Andes Mountains of South America, primarily Peru and Bolivia
    • Green iguana - Green iguanas naturally range from central Mexico south to Paraguay and Brazil in South America.
    • Xoloitzcuintli - Mexican hairless dog
    • Armadillo - Originally native to South America, the armadillo now ranges as far north as Texas (Texas used to be part of Mexico)
    • Chihuahua - The Chihuahua is a Mexican breed of toy dog.
    • Axolotl - The axolotls were found initially in several lakes underlying Mexico City, such as Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco.

Coloring pages can improve fine motor skills, stimulate creativity, build focus and patience, encourage color recognition, improve handwriting, and aid in language development while relieving stress.
