Description
The Science Disaster at Mission Middle School is a writing assignment to reinforce the rules and regulations that go along with science lab safety.
This lesson focuses on any and all rules that you might enforce in your science lab setting. Following the introduction of your lab rules, a 1-2 page writing assignment in narrative form is assigned using the enclosed scenario and characters. A grading rubric is also included. This assignment was issued to the sixth grade advanced science students, but may be adjusted to work with a variety of grades.
