Description

Perfect decor for the ELL/Bilingual/LOTE Classroom! Help your Spanish-speaking English Language Learner students enhance their side-by-side reading comprehension with these bulletin board book covers.

I created these resources during the last year as I transitioned to teaching ESL/ELL middle schoolers. It is crucial for beginner ELL students to have access to bilingual materials, to feel welcome and to be included in the classroom curriculum.

This resource includes the following:

10 book covers of classic YA titles in Spanish with an important quote.

Featured texts: El dador (The Giver), Rebeldes (The Outsiders), El Diario de Ana Frank (The Diary of Anne Frank) Romeo y Julieta (Romeo and Juliet) El gran Gatsby (The Great Gatsby) Noche (Night), Matar un ruiseñor (To Kill a Mockingbird), Drácula (Dracula), La muerte de un viajante (Death of a Salesman), Guardián entre el centeno (The Catcher in the Rye).

These posters can be printed out on cardstock and displayed all-year round to engage and include your ELL learners in the English curriculum. In fact, I typically display them alongside the English version of the poster (see my TPT store).

The portrait and landscape-oriented posters (pdf) can be printed out to any specific size.
