Description
This is the total package! A 10 day unit on the Industrial Revolution, with everything you need! It is very simple to follow, and also easily altered. Very good for low to mid level writers, and everything to help with the writing is included! Here is what is in the folder:
1. Unit Plan (a day by day explanation of what to do)
2. LDC Module (completed with Task and language that aligns with Common Core
3. The Urban Game activity (used to introduce the Industrial Revolution - Note: this game is widely used and the original idea is not my work, this is just my rendition of it)
4. Industrial Revolution Presentation (Powerpoint, 60 slides, with Essential Questions embedded)
5. Encyclopedia Entry: Industrial Revolution
6. Framework (for a 5 paragraph paper)
7. Essay Outline (pre-write "worksheet")
8. Editing Response Log (with instructions on how to peer edit properly - made specifically for Middle Schoolers)
9. Proofreader's Marks "Cheat" sheet
