What educators are saying

I used this for resources for a family that I work with. They benefited from the visuals and step by step outline.
This is a great resource to have on hand for SLPs supervising student interns, CFYs, etc. I think it gives a good basic introduction to LAMP AAC. I was looking for something that I could provide to paraeducators, but this is a little more on the technical programming side.

Description

This visual guide walks you through the initial set up and customization process for the LAMP Words for Life AAC app on the iPad.

*** There is one topic per page with visuals ***

It is perfect for those who are brand new to the app and want screenshots for every step in the initial set up, tips on choosing a vocabulary file and customization options to help buttons stand out.

Updated 3/29/23 to be more age-neutral. Updated 4/5/24 to reflect changes in the app (addition of bilingual Canadian French-English vocab files, removal of the Ivona voices & the option to now use this app on an iPhone as well as an iPad)
