What educators are saying

Great close read activities. Great for Summer School - very concise and easy to use. I can't wait to use it during the year.

Description

Learning to read informational text and find supporting evidence can be difficult. These nonfiction passages help students learn how to read nonfiction and find evidence that supports specific statements. Students are guided through a process to use vocabulary, main idea, and comprehension questions to find the evidence needed to support or justify answers. Questions vary from multiple choice to short answer. The varying nonfiction structures (descriptive, compare/contrast, chronological) of the passages also plays a key role in improving comprehension.
