This resource contains seven PDF lesson plans to teach children all about the Easter story. They can all be used individually or as a whole unit for Lent and Easter. They are suitable for ages 4 -7. The seven lessons are:

Ash Wednesday
The 5 page PDF lesson plan includes an introductory whole class activity, a whole class discussion, discussions in pairs, a drama activity and a final whole class game. The theme for the lesson is ‘showing you are sorry.’

Giving Something Up
The 4 page PDF lesson plan includes details of an introductory group activity, a discussion, a drama activity, a group written activity, a simple poem writing activity and a final game. There are also differentiated targets and details of assessment methods.
