What educators are saying

Excellent resource for letting parents and students know the skills that will be mastered in kindergarten.
I love using this resource with families at the start of the year to identify early K skills ! This helps to start conversation about student progress.

Description

Kindergarten Readiness Checklists! TWO checklists with both academic and non-academic skills, designed for preschool teachers and parents.

First checklist includes every academic skill suggested for "school readiness" based on Common Core standards.

The second checklist includes every LIFE SKILL that a child should know before entering Kindergarten- this list was created based on a poll of over 70 Kindergarten teachers across the United States.

Preschool teachers can use these checklists as assessment tools throughout the year, and as a guide for discussing strengths and weaknesses at parent teacher conferences.

Use as an informational guide for parents- Print these checklists front/back to handout to preschool parents at open house, end of the year graduation, parent teacher conferences, etc.
