In this 5-week Kindergarten writing unit, your students will learn how to craft true stories with a beginning, middle, and end (even if they are mostly drawing).

Your Kindergarten students will learn to stay on topic and use detailed pictures to match their personal narratives. They'll also learn how to describe their reaction to the events in the story (emotions / feelings words).

Plus, students will learn how to space between words, use ending punctuation, capitalize the first letter in a sentence, spell sight words correctly, and use letter sound knowledge to spell new words.
