Description

This is a 16 page unit themed around America / Patriotism. I use this unit in September so all of the activities are geared toward students starting Kindergarten. Imagery used includes a map of America, the flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, the White House, stars and eagles.

~1 worksheet on America where students write the word, stamp the word, cut and past the word, draw the flag and answer basic questions.
~1 worksheet on Freedom where students write the word, stamp the word, cut and past the word, draw the flag and answer basic questions.
~1 Pledge of Allegiance sight word worksheet (in color and black/white)
*There are two versions of the pledge, one with the "under God" and one without.
~1 8 page 'My America Book' (2 printed pages). Includes images for students to color and their labels. Staple on the left.
~1 basic addition worksheet where students add the amount of pictures and write the total (up to 5)
~1 number sequencing worksheets where students write the missing number in the sequence. Missing numbers from 0 - 5.
~1 ten frame worksheet where students use a blank ten frame and flag ten frame squares to answer 6 simple addition questions ( 1 - 5)
~1 How many is 50? Worksheet where students fill in 5 ten frames and count by tens. Star themed.
~1 worksheet about the flag where students color the flag and answer questions about it. (In color and black/white)
~1 color pattern worksheet where students color their own patterns on stars.
~1 maze where students follow the red/white stripe and star pattern to the end of the maze.
~1 Penny Drop activity where students drop a penny 20 times and record the results and answer basic questions.
