Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser. They are a wonderful resource for in-person AND distant learning.

Videos included are-

❤️ Valentine Cookie Subitizing (to 10) - "How many cookies are in the oven?" We get a quick peek inside. Can your kids write the number of cookies they saw before the oven door opens and we watch as the cookies are counted. Click here to see a preview of this video!

❤️ Cupid Prepositions - "Is cupid under the heart? Write yes or no." These videos are wonderful for building vocabular and are amazing for ELL. Click here to see a preview.

❤️ Number Sense Dot Configurations - We see hearts with dots on them as a number flies in. Your kids will hear directions to draw the heart that matches the number. They have time to draw on their boards before we see the answer. The various dot configurations are GREAT for building number sense. This video reviews numbers 4 to 10. Click here to see a preview!

❤️ Tens Partners Heart Lockets - Oh no! Numbers 1 through 9 are sad because they can't find thier tens partners. Can your kids write the 10s partners before we see the answers? I love this one because it also shows ten frames for each number and then says the numbers as an addition sentence. Click here to see a preview!

❤️ Kindergarten Heart Words - "Heart words are not spelled the way you might think! You have to know them by heart." We see and hear heart words, write them on our dry erase boards, and draw a heart under the part of the word that we need to know by heart. Words in this video include: my, is, was, his, look, see, me, to. Click here to see a preview of this video!

❤️ Breaking Hearts Onsets & Rimes (CvC Words) - This video introduces onsets and rimes and shows an example of blending them to make a word. Next we see either one onset and three rimes or three onsets and one rime. Your kids will write the onset and rime that make a word and draw a picture of the word before we see the correct match. Click here to see a preview!

❤️ Flower Facts (Addition to 10) - Flowers bloom from two pots. Can your kids write the addition fact to show how many flowers in all before the flower pots walk us through the answers? Click here to see it!

❤️ Rose Shapes - The roses in this garden bloom in 2D shapes. Can your kids remember which rose the bee lands on and draw it before we see it? Click here to see a preview of this video.

❤️ Dump Truck (10 and then some!) - These dump trucks are full of hearts! The first has ten and the second truck has some more. How many are there in all? Your kids write it then we see how the numbers fill ten frames and hear it as an addition sentence. Click here to see a quick preview from this video.

❤️ Chocolate Subtraction - Great practice for beginning story problems. We see boxes of chocolates and hear how many there are and how many the kids ate. Can your kids figure out how many were left? They have time to solve it before we see the math come to life. Click here to see a quick preview of this video. (All these previews are fast to skip student work-time.)

❤️ CvC Love Letters (middle sound) - We see envelopes with letters, but one envelope is in the mailbox. The mailcarrier tells us what the word is and the stamps show a picture of the word. Can your kids figure out which letter is inside the mailbox before we see the mailbox open? I love how each letter is sounded out when we check our answers. Click here to see a preview!

❤️ Greatest/Least (numbers 1 to 30) - We see two balloons with numbers on them. Watch the spinner to find out which number to write - the greatest or the least. After your kids have time to write, we see where the numbers fall on a number line (helping to reinforce the value of the numbers). Click here to see a preview from this video.

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
Compose and decompose numbers from 11 to 19 into ten ones and some further ones, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each composition or decomposition by a drawing or equation (e.g., 18 = 10 + 8); understand that these numbers are composed of ten ones and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
