☔ Flowerpot Prepositions - "Is the flower under the pot? Write yes or no!" I love these videos for building vocabulary. They are terrific for ELL. Click here to see an example from this video.
☔ Spring Sentences (Predictable Dictated Writing) - Your kids will practice writing sentences they hear. This video uses predictable text and CvC words for beginning writers. Sentences all begin with "I see a..." I love how this video walks kids through the steps of checking their sentence. "Did you remember to use a capital letter at the beginning? ☔ Bird Nest Counting by 10s - "Each bird laid 10 eggs. How many are there in all?" Can your kids count by 10s and write the number before we see the birds fly away and hear the tree skip count to get to the correct answer? Click here to see a sample of this video! ☔ Busy Counting On - Your kids will hear how many bees are in the hive and see one, two, or three outside of the hive. Can they count on to find how many bees there are in all before we hear the bees count themselves? This is great practice counting on starting at any number. ☔ Sprouting CvC Words - We see and hear a CvC word. Three flowers will bloom with letters on them, but only two have sprouted. Can your kids write the missing letter before it blooms? This video reviews on missing inital, middle, and ending sounds. Click here to see a preview!

☔ Frog Lunch 2D Shapes - "The frog is hungry, but there are lots of flies around! Watch to see which shape fly he eats." Can your kids draw the shape that disappeared? Click here to see a preview of this video.
☔ Flower Petal Subtraction - This video is great for practicing solving subtraction word problems. We see a flower and hear how many petals it has and how many were picked. Can your kids solve the subtraction fact to find out how many will be left before we see the story problem acted out? Click here to see a preview of this video. ☔ Insect Investigation - 2D or 3D Shapes? - We see a bug that has a shape for a body. We hear the name of the shape. Can your kids identify if it is a flat or solid figure by writing 2D or 3D on their boards before we see the correct answer? This video reinforces the concept of flat and solid shapes by adding all 2D shapes to the "2D Bug Sticker Book" and all solid shapes will be put in a "3D Bug Collection" container. ☔ Growing Number Bonds (Pairs to 9) - We see garden plots with numbers in them, but one number is missing. We hear and see how these plots create number bonds with part/part/whole. A seed is planted. Can your kids figure out which number will spout to complete the number bond? I love this video because it also includes a cute little worm that tells us how each number bond relates to an addition sentence. Click here to see an example from this video.
☔ Sentences in the Sky - Can your kids identify complete sentences? They will be checking for a capital at the beginning, punctuation at the end, and making sure the sentence makes sense.
